Ladybug Magazine Subscription

Ladybug Magazine is one of the cutest brainstorms to hit the journalism market today. This crafty magazine caters to children between the ages of two and six. You may be asking yourself what toddler needs a magazine and the question is valid. My knee jerk reaction was to laugh at the concept posed by Ladybug Magazine but after a little thought, my snorts turned into nods of acceptance.

First of all, I send letters from Santa to each and every one of my nieces and nephews. My daughter got her first one before she was born. This may seem like a futile attempt to get children to believe in Santa Claus, but it is the first step to introducing them to reading. Ladybug Magazine works in much the same way. The letters from Santa are not designed to be read by the child. They are made to be read to the child. This is the fundamental step to reading in general.

There is another way that Ladybug Magazine is like getting letters from Santa Claus. This similarity is that the child receives them in the mail. Even a two year old child is beginning to understand the concept of mail. Children love to receive letters or just about anything else in the mail. This goes for Ladybug Magazine as well. This monthly magazine arrives twelve times each year bringing joy and excitement to your mailbox.

Each issue contains forty pages which is a large number of pages for any child to go through. Some adults have difficulty getting through forty pages of magazine. However, Ladybug Magazine fills the journal with engaging stories and poems written by today's most popular writers. They are also illustrated by well known artists who help bring the stories to life.

What really animates the stories and poems is the parent or caretaker who spends the countless moments sharing the reading experience with the child. Ladybug Magazine provides the opportunity for you to set everything aside for a few minutes and share a special moment with your little one. It is the vehicle that begins your little one on his or her first reading adventure and it gives you a way to bond.

So when someone asks me why on earth I would order a monthly subscription for my daughter, I tell them that she simply needs Ladybug Magazine. It opens the world of reading to her and it gives her an her mommy a little time together each day to read and share. Every child could use that.
